What is Fellowship?
Acts 2:42 "They continued steadily learning the teaching of the apostles and joined in the fellowship."
Fellowship is not just something the church is. It's something we do.
Fellowship is when you get to know other people who are headed in the same direction. And of course as Christians, we're all headed to heaven. We're headed in the same direction. So the Bible says we're to have fellowship with each other. And a top priority in fellowship is harmony and unity.
The Bible says "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." The next verse says, "Let us concentrate on the things that make for harmony and the growth of our fellowship together."

Every
year since 1985, the people of Jarrettown have gathered at Harvey Cedars
Bible Conference in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, for the annual church
retreat. This usually takes place during the first weekend of March. The
weekend is filled with opportunities for spiritual growth, fun and fellowship
with your church family. Activities are offered simultaneously for children,
youth and adults. The retreat committee secures professional retreat leaders
for each age group's program.

Church Picnic
Every September Jarrettown families gather for the annual picnic. With a multitude of activities such as a scavenger hunt, peanut scramble, water balloon toss, volleyball, basketball, baseball, face painting, chili cook-off, dessert contest, and singing, and a multitude of delicious food such as grilled chicken and hot dogs along with salads and drinks, a wonderful time is had by all.

Church Softball Team
All men age 15 and older are invited to join the church softball team. Held in the summer, the Jarrettown softball team competes against other church teams in the area. If you have a desire to play the game and have fun with other Christians, please call Tom Malfi for more information (609-760-1326).
